Q. How quickly can you do the installation?
We do all our installations within 5 days of order. We also have an express installation service, where you can get your alarm fitted within 24 hours of order at an additional cost of £99, within 48 hours for an additional fee of £49.00, and weekend (Saturday only) or evening installation (installations to start by 4pm (seasonal conditions apply) and finish on the same evening) for £49.00 each.
Can you do the installations on a weekend for us please?

Who does you alarm installations for you?
We use our own engineers for all our installations. Our engineers are trained and certified by the manufacturers we work with and alsoall our installers are BS7858 Screened and CRB checked for your protection.
Do I have to decide if I need any extra accessories now?
Of course not, our engineers carry all necessary stock with them and you can decide with them at the time of installation if you need any extra bits. They start all installations with a survey and make recommendations. You can order the standard kit on the website or on over the phone and pay for any accessories you get on completion of installation either by card, cash or cheque
Can you make any of your alarms pet friendly?
Yes we certainly can. Apart from Yale alarms, all other ones do not cost you any extra to make them pet friendly. Just mention you want it to be pet friendly when you place your order.
Yale alarms tend to be little more expensive with the pet friendly sensors.
You fitted an alarm for us, and now we have pets? Can you upgrade my alarm to be pet friendly for me?
No problem at all. Please get in touch and we can arrange that for you.
Can you install alarms with third party monitoring?
We certainly can. We can have alarms connected to our third party monitoring station and they will call you to let you know your burglar alarm is going off. We however, do not do police response alarms and keyholder services, generally used in commercial premises.
What is a proximity tag?
Proximity tag is a portable device which can be used for turning the alarm on and off without having to punch your user code in to operate your burglar alarm.
Why should I get keyfobs with my burglar alarms?
Wireless keyfobs make it easy for you to turn the alarm on and off from anywhere in the house. Keyfobs are handy at night, as you can operate your alarm sitting in bed, and they also work as a panic button for you as well.
What is the advantage of having a smart phone app with my alarm?
A smart phone all for an alarm allows for you to remotely control your alarm from any where in the world. You can check your intruder alarm status, and turn it on and off as well. Some apps will even allow you to individually control each sensor in the alarm and make settings changes. With apps, alarms can notify you and give you details of which sensor triggered the alarm as well. Some alarms also has the option of camera sensors if you have app.
Why should I have camera sensors with my alarm?
For burglar alarms with smartphone apps, we always recommend considering fitting them with camera sensors. Camera sensors helps with visual verification of an actual alarm. The alarm will send photos/ videos to your phone, so you can see who triggered the alarm and take necessary actions. You can also log into your app and take photos of your house anytime from the app as wel.
Does your alarms have app for windows phone or blackberry phones?
Unfortunately most burglar alarm manufacturers tend to work only with android and iphone devices and hence apps are only available for such devices. However, you can always log into your alarm from a computer with internet access as well.
Are you part of NACOSS, NSI or SSAIB?
We are part of SSAIB. We also have our own internal training procedures and all our engineers go through training with manufacturers we work with as well.
Do you provide insurance certificates?
Yes we do. We can install our professional range of alarms with a SSAIB certificate.
Does a wireless alarm depend on home broadband wifi to work?
No, they don’t! All British Standard Wireless Burglar Alarms work on their own dedicated wireless frequency. Some alarms do use your broadband for smart phone app connectivity for remote access and control.
Can you list some of the features the alarms have?
Here’s a small list of what alarms these days can do for you.
Apart from the obvious loud and visible siren outside, most of our alarms also have internal sirens built into the control panel of the alarm.
Zone Controllable Alarm – you can use them when you go out and also when you go to bed at night.
Telecommunicating Alarms – Alarms call you when they are triggered using either your landline or using a simcard inside the alarm
Smart Phone App Alarms- Alarms connect to your home broadband and can be remotely accessed and controlled from your smart phone
Camera Sensors Alarms – Alarms with apps can also have motion sensors with built in cameras which sends you photos/ video when alarm is triggered, for visual verification.
Do you offer installation only service?
Yes, we do. Please get in touch and we will be happy to go through the options and pricings with you. Please note, with installation only service, we offer 1 year onsite warranty for the installation. If the product gets faulty, you will have to take it back to the product supplier. When we supply and install the product, the whole responsibility is ours.

Does your price include fitting and VAT?
Yes, all the prices displayed on the website for intruder alarms, include fitting and VAT. There is no hidden charges and all our systems come with 1 year onsite warranty for installation and products.
What is your best price?
All our prices are published on the website. The burglar alarm prices we have on the website are all inclusive of supply, fitting and taxes.
If I book an install then once its installed I don’t like it - what is the cancellation policy?
Unfortunately, there is no cancellation available after a system is fully installed for you. They come with 1 year onsite warranty and if anything is wrong we will fix them free of cost. Once a system is installed, they cannot be removed without damages to your property or cannot be sold off to another customer. No installation company will offer a free removal of alarm after installation. You can of course cancel your order between placing an order an installation. Our cancellation policy is detailed in our terms and conditions section.
I don’t know how many sensors I need with my alarm?
No problem at all, we can help you choose them. You can even decide if you need any extra devices on the day of installation. Our engineers carry them in stock.
I am moving house, could I take my burglar alarm with me?
Yes you certainly can. Please get in touch and we can arrange an engineer to remove it and reinstall it in the new property for you.
Can I add more devices to my alarm on a later date?
